Week Calendar

Toddler Time familiarizes toddlers with Library resources by using music, songs, and play time. This program is designed for children ages 16 months to 36 months, but all are welcomed to attend.

Baby Time is a lap-sit storytime for babies (birth-16 months) and their parents/caregivers that will include books, rhymes, and songs. This program is targeted for babies ages birth-16 months, but all are welcomed to attend.

Preschool Time incorporates thematic books, music, and more during 45-minute sessions. This program is designed for children ages 3 and up but all are welcomed to attend.

Join us for a playdate at the library! Play stations will be set up for your child(ren) to play with you, as well as other children and their caregivers.

Everyone is a philosopher, and everyone is welcome to exchange thoughtful ideas and experiences. Socrates Cafe meets at 10 am on the second Friday of each month in the QPL Large Meeting Room.

This month's theme is: Animal Rights

Did you know that animals have voices too? Join us at this special storytime about animals. We will read books about animals, listen to songs, and do a drawing activity.

Monday Movies take place at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm in the Large Meeting Room. Patrons are invited to bring a snack and non-alcoholic beverage to enjoy! Not sure if you'll enjoy this movie? Take a look at its audience rating to help you decide!

Bookies meet at 1:00 pm on the first Wednesday of every month.  Book selections are made 3-6 months in advance.  Anyone interested in book discussions is welcome to attend!

In celebration of Juneteenth, the Quincy Public Library is offering conversations centered around sharing and telling more than one story through education with the goal of making a positive impact on our community.

Need a space to hangout away from adults and siblings? 

Come to the Library every Tuesday for chill vibes and cool snacks. Games, crafts, and spontaneous dance parties will happen.

Bring your friends to hang out, chat, and build with Legos. Each week a theme will be given that club members can build, or you can build what you want. We will build, clean up, then share our creations (if you want).

Tonight, we will follow along with a video on how to create a self-portrait. Creating self-portraits is an opportunity to reflect on the physical aspect of our identity.
