Program Description

Event Details

In celebration of Juneteenth, the Quincy Public Library is offering conversations centered around sharing and telling more than one story through education with the goal of making a positive impact on our community. How do we, as parents, teachers, community leaders, and citizens make everyone’s history relevant? Engaging? How do you, as parents and as educators, talk about Juneteenth and what it stands for? How do you have these conversations in a way that moves our community—and our nation—forward?

Join us at the Quincy Public Library to discuss this important topic! Then we will have a couple speakers tell about how they educate diverse learners and have these conversations, then a Q & A and to discussion between educators and community members.
