As the temperatures drop, let's look at a sub-genre known as cozy fantasy. Stories in this genre offer a warm, comforting escape. Here there be dragons, and they run the local tea shop.

These are a great low-stakes way to dip your toe in the fantasy genre before tackling a 500-page behemoth of a book. So, curl up in your fuzziest blanket and let one of these books whisk you away!
