Women's History Month Expert Panel: Women in STEM

Women are grossly underrepresented in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), and women in STEM fields often faces challenges that other women do not. 

Why are there so few women in STEM fields? Do women face educational and societal challenges that prevent them from pursuing or entering STEM careers? How do we encourage our young women to pursue these profitable, male-dominated fields? 

Join us at the library and meet and talk with a female engineer, astrophysicist, and two women in IT fields as we explore these questions through the eyes of local experts.!
