Event Details

Join Miss Natascha in this program for tweens! Together we will read and complete activities around “This Book is Anti-Racist: 20 Lessons on How to Wake Up, Take Action, and Do the Work” and “This Book is Anti-Racist Journal” written by Tiffany Jewell and Illustrated by Aurella Durand. This program is intended to be a safe space to begin conversations about race and racism for children ages 9-12. Other topics that will be discussed in the book are ethnicity, sexual orientation/identity, and social identity. Space is limited so reservations are requested.

This program was made possible by a grant provided through Healing Illinois through the United Way of Adams County.
