In the United States, every 39 minutes a person is killed by drunk driving. That's something to get MADD about.
Beyond the Headlights is a non-profit organization started by a mom who lost her young adult daughter to a drunk driver. Inspired by this tragedy, Jennifer turns her pain into power and education, speaking where she can as a representative of her own nonprofit, as well as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to spread awareness of drunk driving and its consequences.
Beyond the headlights of that other car is:
- someone's mom
- someone's dad
- someone's child
- someone's spouse
- someone's grandchild
and consequences that can never be erased.
Come join us at the library, hear the personal stories of people who have lost loved ones to drunk driving, and learn what you can do to educate and help prevent tragedies like these.
