Program Description

Event Details

This program is part of the Quincy Community Read, which hopes to offer further education on the themes of the book Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, & a Mother’s Will to Survive by Stephanie Land.  The Community Read initiative hopes to broaden our understanding of the world, our communities, and ourselves through the power of a shared reading experience.

Come join us for an open, moderated discussion of Stephanie Land's experiences, as shared with us in Maid. Come share your questions, comments, or thoughts on the book and your own personal experiences relating to these themes, if you choose!  We welcome all discussion and input!

Coffee, hot tea, water, and hot chocolate beverages will be provided, as well as cookies from Underbrinks Bakery for a snack! Please register using the form below to help us plan how many cookies we need and come join in the conversation!
