The historic Mark Twain Zephyr train set is currently being restored at the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad in Trego, Wisconsin. This historic train often passed through Quincy, IL, and West Quincy, MO, between 1935 and 1958 while it was in service to the CB&Q. Robert Tabern, Director of Passenger Development, will talk about the efforts to restore this train in just a little over one year's time. Mr. Tabern also wrote a book series on the history of the Mark Twain Zephyr and will host a book signing following his presentation.
