Everyone has a voice, and everyone has a style of using that voice. However, unless you explore new things, how will you ever find your voice-- your style of expressing yourself? Would it be via Art? Music? Fashion? Dance? Writing? Political action? Maybe you haven’t had the time or the knowledge to look into these things, and maybe you just aren’t sure if they are for you. QPL has done the work for you! In a collaboration with a number of Quincy businesses and people, come into QPL and have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with:

  • Shawn Jones from The Beats Dance Academy to inquire about trying dance!
  • Ron Kinscherf, a local author, if you are interested in becoming an author and getting published!
  • Robert Bentley from Legacy martial Arts if you are interested in trying martial Arts!
  • Julianna Denish if you are interested in cosplay!
  • Kimberly Page from Rooted Yoga on the benefits of and beginning yoga!
  • Brandon from Quincy Community Theatre if you are interested in trying acting!
  • Maureen Klues from Memoirs by Maureen if you are interested in writing a memoir!
  • Rachel and Alta from the Art Center if you if you are interested in trying out various art forms!
  • Kristen from Yellow Kiss Boutique if you are interested in revamping your clothing style!
  • The Quincy Symphony Orchestra and Choir on how to get started in music!
  • Brandon from Because it Looks Kool Photography on how to get started in photography!
  • Ignacio Anguiano-Reyes, professional Latin Dance Teacher & Performer

Come talk to as many or a few as you would like and explore how you want to use your voice! Pull up a chair, have a coffee or tea, and have a relaxed, no-pressure Q&A with anyone you would like to dive into what interests you!
