Event Details

The Quincy Public Library is kicking off its brand-new Seed Library! What is a Seed Library? Come join us, learn what a Seed Library is and how you can borrow seeds, meet other gardeners to share tips and tricks, take a tour, and have refreshments!

Our welcome and kickoff speaker will be none other than Deborah Lee, Master Gardener, herbalist, and owner of Four Winds Farm. Learn from Deborah about heirloom seeds, why you should plant and grow your own food, or save seeds!

Take part in a personal tutorial of the Seed Library so that you know how to find the plants that are right for you and check out seeds. You can choose seeds to take home from our Seed Library and learn more about how you can keep Quincy growing!

Can’t make it to the event? No problem – the seed library is accessible beginning February 1st during library open hours-- and make sure you make it to the Seed Swap on February 17th! Have a look at our calendar for more information!
