Event Details
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, QPL invites adults, teens, and tweens to come at their leisure, sit down a relax a while, and do some coloring at the library!
But wait… isn’t coloring for kids? Coloring is for adults, too, and is extremely positive for our mental health! Coloring can help you be more mindful. It is one of many artistic forms of meditation! Coloring is also a healthy way to relieve stress! It calms the brain and helps your body relax. This can improve sleep and fatigue while decreasing body aches, heart rate, respiration, and feelings of depression and anxiety.
Try to let go of judgments or expectations and enjoy the simple beauty of coloring! All month at the library, all supplies provided!
