To read? Or not to Read? Is often the question that comes up with banned and challenged books. This book club answers that question with a big 'Heck Yes!' In this club, we aren't afraid to be open minded, or to tackle tough subjects!
The Banned Book Club reads exclusively books that have been Banned or Challenged, except during Big Read!
This month's book is the NEA Big Read selection for 2024: The Bear, by Andrew Krivak.
Come by the library and pick up your copy of The Bear for free. In addition, most library card holders have access to both audio and eBook versions of The Bear for free from Libby or Hoopla.
Due to a lot of reservations at the library on this date, Banned Book Club will meet off-site for the month of October. Any new members who wish to join us, please do so on November 26th, at the library.
