There are nearly 22 million Asian Americans in the United States. QPl believes that each and every American is an important part of American Society as a whole. May is National Asian American Heritage month, so for this month's history trail, QPl is honoring these Americans! Come in and walk the trail and learn something new about your neighbors!
Here’s how an adult StoryWalk/StoryWalk History Trail works: come into the library, follow the trail around the perimeter, stop periodically where signs are posted and read a bit of a short story at each stop! By the time you are finished you will not only have read a wonderful new story, but will have added .23 miles of walking to help you keep moving!
Stories will change biweekly, so you will have something new to read twice a month!
In addition to the benefits you receive from movement and reading, we have made this a reading challenge! By completing StoryWalks and the history trails you can enter into a monthly drawing for a $20 gift card to a local business (businesses will vary)!
