Experience all the feels this winter!  From January 16 – January 31, the Quincy Public Library is offering “All the Feels,” a Winter Reading Challenge.  We challenge our community to read and log at least 6 hours during the challenge, complete two fun activities, and submit a book recommendation for a future "Patron Picks" display.

To join the challenge, come to the library to pick up a paper form starting January 16, or download and use the Beanstack app

All reading and activities must be completed by January 31st at 8:00 pm - on the Beanstack app or with the paper form submitted in person at the library.

Winners will be notified the next afternoon.

Earn up to 10 chances to win a gift basket, based on literary genres - Historical Fiction, Humor, Mystery, and Romance.  Each gift basket includes 3 books and a tiny stuffed animal (for "all the feels").

  • The Historical Fiction basket winner will receive: "My Lady Jane," by Cynthia Hand; "The Sleeping Car Porter," by Suzette Mayr; "The Dictionary of Lost Words," by Pip Williams; and Tristan the Triceratops.
  • The Humor basket winner will receive: "Number One is Walking," by Steve Martin; "Eating Salad Drunk: Haikus for the Burnout Age by Comedy Greats"; "The World's Worst Assistant," by Sona Movsesian & Conan O'Brien; and Lexie the Cheetah.
