Earth Day is in April! The beautiful Monarch butterfly is now endangered due to habitat loss! Monarch butterflies only lay their eggs on milkweed, and monarch caterpillars can only eat milkweed! They also are attracted to red and orange flowers for nectar. Attract monarchs with the other colorful wildflowers, and give their larvae a home with the milkweed! Help save this gorgeous butterfly by planting a patch wildflowers in your yard, a field, or even a container on your patio!!

Kit contains pre-stratified seeds for several endangered wildflowers, three of which are native to Illinois, Butterfly milkweed, and additional flower seeds for pops of color and all-season blooms!

Come in the library, visit the "Ask Here" desk, pick up a kit, and take it home! Follow the simple instructions and make your own milkweed and wildflower seed bombs for home use! Seed bombs make planting extra easy!
